In partnership with the OYO POUR TOUS endowment fund, the Reine Emballages teams in Veyziat took part in a reforestation programme near the plant.
2 sessions during which employees were involved in protecting the environment by planting Atlas cedars, one of the 3 species used for this project to plant 1,200 trees. Thanks to agents from the ONF (Office National des Forêts), the teams were able to discuss forest management and the situation of trees in front of climate change: a very enriching experience for our employees who handle wood-based paper/cardboard every day!
It's a fine example of a collaborative and socially responsible project that underlines the company's attachment to its local area and its desire to contribute to the protection of life and the planet through its activity.
